Dermal Fillers
Restore volume, soften lines, and bring back a little of what time has taken — without looking like you did anything at all. Book a consult and let’s talk about what makes sense for you.
What dermal filler actually does
Dermal filler is a gel-based treatment, usually made from hyaluronic acid, that adds volume back to areas of the face that have thinned or hollowed over time. As we age, we lose fat and structure in places like the cheeks, under the eyes, around the mouth, and along the jawline. Filler helps restore that volume, softens the appearance of lines and folds, and can enhance natural contours like the lips or cheeks.
It’s not about changing who you are. It’s about looking like a well-rested version of yourself. I’ll never push you toward more than you want — my job is to help you reach your goals, not mine.
What to expect at your appointment
Your visit starts with a conversation. We'll talk about your goals, assess your facial anatomy, and create a treatment plan that's tailored to you. I'll explain where filler may help—and where it may not be the right choice.
Treatment is performed during your appointment, and you'll receive clear aftercare instructions before you leave. Some swelling and bruising are normal and usually improve over the following days, with final results settling over the next couple of weeks.
Every appointment is scheduled one-on-one, so you'll never feel rushed and you'll always have time to ask questions.
Frequently asked questions
-
Most people feel some pressure or a brief pinch rather than sharp pain. The filler itself contains a numbing agent, which helps keep things comfortable throughout. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, and I’ll always check in with you during treatment.
-
It depends on the area treated, the product used, and your own body’s metabolism, but generally you can expect results to last anywhere from six months to a year. Areas with more movement, like the lips, tend to metabolize filler faster than areas like the cheeks. We’ll talk through what to expect for your specific treatment plan at your consult.
-
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer here. At your consult, I’ll assess your facial anatomy and talk with you about your goals so we can come up with a plan that looks natural and fits your budget.
-
Most people return to their normal routine the same day. Some swelling, tenderness, or minor bruising is normal and usually improves over the following few days.
If you have a wedding, vacation, or other special event, I recommend scheduling your filler treatment two to three months in advance. This allows time for swelling to fully settle and, if appropriate, enough time to assess your results and make any planned refinements.

Dermal filler has a long track record of safe use when it’s done by someone trained in facial anatomy. I’ve spent 11 years working in healthcare and completed hands-on training specifically in fillers, neurotoxins, and facial anatomy. Like any medical treatment, it carries some risk, which is exactly why we sit down and talk everything through, in person, before we ever pick up a syringe — what you want, what’s realistic, and whether it’s the right fit for you.
-
Neurotoxins relax the muscles that cause movement-related lines, like the ones between your brows or at the corners of your eyes. Dermal filler adds volume back into the skin, which helps with hollowing, folds, and thinning lips. Some people benefit from one, the other, or both — we’ll figure out what fits your face and your goals at your consult.
